Are you consumed by your husband's addiction, and how to stop it?
Have you let everything else in your life fall by the wayside....including yourself?
If your life feels out of control due to your husband's drinking then I want you to know that you're in the right place. There is help and there is hope.
Take my hand. You're gonna get through this....
The Secret Sisters Circle is NOT a 12-step program.
It is instead centered around my signature 4-Step Renewal Path which is based on the biblical principles of renewal.
This path with take you through renewal and restoration in every area of your life (renewal of mind, renewal of relationship, renewal of self, and renewal of your relationship with God).
When you join you will discover where you are on the Renewal Path, and what few things you need to focus on right now to move you forward in a positive direction.
This will keep you out of overwhelm, but still moving towards healing and wholeness.
In this short video I break down the Renewal Path, which is my signature method that will take you from hurting to healing.
"I wish I had joined sooner.
I was hesitant because I wasn't sure online support would be enough. However, the videos and daily chats are amazing.
I also appreciate that when I am struggling in a certain moment or situation, I have access to content right away, and I feel less alone."
"I am so glad God called you into this ministry because I know it's what helped me and ultimately helped my husband.
I'm in such a better place now than last year when I joined."
"This group God led me to has saved my sanity!
I'm not anywhere near perfect but I am so much more peaceful, content, and happy.
I am still praying and believing for healing in his life while walking out my own healing everyday!
“The compassion and understanding I have been able to find of my husbands addiction has brought so much peace to my home.
I’ve seen a huge difference in him and our kids.
Not to mention, I have found a way to navigate through this messy life without feeling like I’m walking on egg shells.”
"I feel very blessed to be part of this group. It gives me lots of hope.
I had signed up for another group last year. The experience was so negative.
I looking forward to watch each of us grow as we progress thru the 5 areas."
"This group is a gift.
I feel a lot of relief having others to help navigate what I could never figure out on my own these last 10 years.
I already feel progress."
"I now know that I am not alone and other Christian women who love the Lord understand my journey.
I also see that other husbands struggling with this disease love the Lord and have similar behaviors and responses which helps me have more empathy.
It has been a God sent resource for me."
"Secret Sisters membership has been a life saver.
Once I realized I could assign the term "alcoholic" to my husband, I dug into finding resources for myself.
What is different about the Secret Sisters membership is that it's focused on my wellbeing - not how I can change my husband's behavior.
I've been able to refocus negative thoughts and prepare my heart for hard times.
The membership does all this while keeping God and the relationship with Him at the forefront. "
"I'm so glad the Lord sent me this group to take this journey with.
Julie, your ministry is such a God-given gift to us. God's hands are all over it.
Again thanks for all the hard work you put in to make sure we're okay."
You will receive both 'Core Content' coaching and monthly coaching in the Secret Sisters Circle.
Core Content coaching focuses on topics that will help you move along the Renewal Path and into restoration.
Monthly topics are released twice per month and are designed to help you with real-life issues that wives of alcoholics regularly encounter, so you don't feel constantly lost and confused while navigating life with an alcoholic.
All of your coaching lessons are delivered to you on your private VIP Membership Platform where you can go through them on-demand at a time that's convenient for you.
Each lesson includes a video, plus a worksheet, exercise, or activity to help you actually implement what you are learning.
The Secret Sisters Circle Library contains the entire back-catalog of every lesson ever presented in the membership.
If you need help ASAP with a certain topic, or direction/clarification around a specific challenge you're encountering with your husband, you will find it here.
The Secret Sisters Circle community is a place for you to interact with other women who are in the same situation you are.
Peer support and encouragement keeps you from feeling alone, and you will find it here, along with tips, inspiration, and check-ins to keep you on track.
The Secret Sisters Circle group is housed on a private platform, and is for SSC members only.
The Secret Sisters Circle private audio feed allows you to listen to all of the SSC lessons wherever you are in a podcast-style format.
Whether you're walking the dog, driving to work, or getting ready in the morning you can now easily access all of the lessons in a way that fits your life.
There is no time when we need spiritual warfare more than when we are living with an addict.
The 'War Room' is held live in the SSC group, and is where we employ spiritual battle to cover all of our sisters and their struggles with prayer.
There will also be an opportunity to get any questions you may have answered so you don't have to be constantly wondering what to do next.
Can't make it live? That's okay. I always ask for questions and prayer requests beforehand (they can even be anonymous if you'd like), and I post the final video in the Membership Platform where you can watch it at your convenience.
The monthly Zoom meeting is a great way to connect with other women who are going through the same things you are.
This is a great place to come to get heard, get your questions answered, and get filled up by your coaches and your fellow sisters.
We read a book together bi-monthly in the SSC, and discuss what we are learning from it both in the group and at our monthly Zoom meeting.
Participation in the book club portion of the SSC is optional, but encouraged.
These titles are carefully selected to serve as meaningful sources of spiritual direction, encouragement, and inspiration.
Is your mind a whirlwind of anxiety, fear, and overwhelm because of your husband's drinking?
Use these scripture ties to 'tie up' negative thoughts and take them captive. This can bring such peace and calm into your mind and spirit!
Try to memorize the ones you feel you will need most often so that they are always at the ready.
The day-to-day struggles of living with an alcoholic can leave us feeling defeated.
Use these wallpapers on your phone, tablet, or computer to serve as daily reminders and keep you filled with hope, motivation, and peace.
Battling our husband's addiction and its effects on us is spiritual warfare, so having some powerful prayers in your arsenal is so important.
You can use these powerful prayers as part of your daily routine, or in the 'heat of the moment' when things feel out of control.
Struggling with your emotions?
You can use these Bible verses as part of your daily routine, or in the 'heat of the moment' when things feel out of control.
Don't just read them though.
Meditate on them. Repeat them out loud several times. Write them on post-it notes and place them where you will see them often.
Speaking the Word out loud is one of the most powerful things we can do when our emotions (and the enemy) are trying to take over.
Filled with powerful songs from a variety of Christian artists, you can listen to this playlist any time you need some reassurance, some comfort, or a boost in your spirit!
Stress is unfortunately a common emotion when you are the wife of an alcoholic, but it is also incredibly toxic to both our bodies and our spirit.
The tools in this toolkit can go a long way towards calming your mind, relaxing your body, and bringing you back to center.

I tried to handle/manage my husband's addiction and all of the fallout from it by myself, and it was one of the biggest mistakes I've ever made.
There is help. There is hope. And I would be honored to play a part in guiding you there.
I hope to see you inside the membership.
In His Grace,
Julie Sanford is a wife and mom of three who found herself in a situation she never wanted to be in as the wife of an alcoholic.
After navigating that incredibly difficult road for several years, and walking with her husband all the way through the darkness of addiction and into sobriety, God called her to use every bit of it for good.
Julie now helps other wives of alcoholics navigate their husband's addiction without losing themselves in the process, and shows them how to restore their often troubled relationship with God.
