If you’ve been living with the quiet pain of a husband who drinks too much, you’ve probably asked yourself:
“Am I overreacting?”
“Is his drinking really a problem?”
“What can I even do if it is?”
The What Now Private Online Journal was created to help you stop spinning in those questions—and start finding real, honest answers.
One of the best places to start your learning journey as the wife of an alcoholic is with the Married to Addiction podcast.
There aren't too many podcasts for spouses of alcoholics to begin with, much less for Christian wives of alcoholics. So this one is just for YOU.
On this faith-filled podcast we dive into some real talk about what it's like to be married to an alcoholic, and I'll give you some tips on how to navigate the challenges it brings.
The Married to Addiction blog is a safe, faith-based space filled with truth, understanding, and practical guidance tailored specifically for you, the Christian wife of an alcoholic.
Whether you're feeling confused, exhausted, or just desperately looking for hope, you'll find posts that speak to your situation with compassion, wisdom, and Biblical encouragement.
The Secret Sisters Circle is my transformative coaching program that will teach you how to navigate nearly every day-to-day scenario you could encounter with an alcoholic husband.
We also put a BIG emphasis on your healing in the SSC, because addiction doesn't have to take you down too.
This video bundle features a variety of speakers who present on a wide range of marriage topics, including infidelity, porn use, emotional distress, failing marriages, how to pray over your marriage, and much more.
This bundle includes 14 videos on a variety of subjects that can help a Christian wife in a struggling marriage.
When my husband was deep in the throes of addiction I remember hearing that I should 'set boundaries', but that concept seemed fuzzy to me.
But once I finally learned what healthy boundaries were...and were NOT...and how to actually create them in a healthy way it changed everything.
In this on-demand Mini Course with bite-sized lessons you will not only learn how to set good effective boundaries, but you will also walk away with some well-defined boundaries of your own that you can implement ASAP.
A faith-based 30 day program for the wife of an alcoholic written by someone who has been down this road and deeply understands what you are going through.
This program will give you the tools you need to navigate this path, and teach you how to best help your husband AND yourself.
Just like Al-anon, the church etc rely on funds coming in through monetary donations and offerings, this faith-based online platform is funded solely by its paid programs.
If there is no funding then the entire Married to Addiction platform could not exist, including the podcast and other free resources.
I try to always provide a variety of offerings (both paid and free) and to serve you as best I can through each of them. And of course I always greatly appreciate any and all support sent my way.
Please note that all paid offerings are billed discreetly by 'Women's Ministries'.
If you would like to make a donation outside of purchasing a paid program please email julie@marriedtoaddiction.com
Married to Addiction provides Christian support for wives of alcoholics who feel overwhelmed, heartbroken, and unsure what to do next. If your husband’s drinking is impacting your life and faith, you’ll find biblical hope, clarity, and direction here—even if nothing around you is changing.
